World Animal Net

World Animal Net (WAN) was a global network of animal protection organizations dedicated to improving animal welfare worldwide. With a mission to connect, collaborate, and campaign for change, WAN provided essential resources, expertise, and strategic guidance to its over 3,000 member organizations in over 100 countries. By fostering cooperation and sharing best practices, WAN empowered animal protection advocates to make a significant impact on animal welfare issues worldwide.

WAN offered a range of programs to support its mission, including strategic advocacy courses, humane education initiatives, international policy development, and constitutional reform projects. These programs equip[ed animal protection organizations with the tools and knowledge they need to effectively address animal welfare challenges. Additionally, WAN collaborated with other organizations such as the International Coalition for Animal Welfare (ICFAW), Species Survival Network (SSN), and Fur Free Alliance (FFA) to amplify its impact and achieve shared goals.

In early 2021, WAN embarked on a new chapter, becoming a founding member of the World Federation for Animals, and ceasing separate operations.
