The Association of Dogs and Cats Homes (ADCH) is a leading umbrella organization representing over 160 dog and cat rescue and rehoming charities across the British Isles. ADCH promotes best practices in animal welfare and fosters a collaborative environment where members can share knowledge, resources, and support.
As the host of the UK’s largest annual animal welfare conference, ADCH attracts significant attention from various organizations within the sector. Through its conferences, meetings, and training events, ADCH provides opportunities for members to connect, learn, and advocate for the well-being of dogs and cats.
ADCH’s vision is a positive life for all dogs and cats. To achieve this, the organization focuses on developing good practices, addressing common challenges, exploring cost-effective solutions, facilitating information exchange, advocating for animal welfare legislation, sharing expertise in facility construction, and representing members’ views to a wider audience. By the end of the decade, ADCH aims to strengthen its position as a leading representative for dog and cat rescue and rehoming charities, and to create a strong and sustainable sector that consistently improves the lives of dogs and cats in the UK and Ireland.
ADCH is a member of the Canine & Feline Sector Group.
